2025 was the third time that the creative circus community Dynamo in collaboration with Odense Film Festival organised the special screening of circus short films produced and directed by circus artists. Ten films with great artistic potential and unique storytelling was selected for the competition. 

The competition gives artists in the circus genres the opportunity to use their field as a form of expression in a crisp film format with a duration of only 60 seconds.  

Winner of the year 

It became the film Like a fish on dry land, directed by Josa Kölbel, which won the award at Odense International Film Festival on 31 August 2025.

In addition to a cash prize and a statuette, she received a residency at Dynamo Workspace with the opportunity to work for 2-3 weeks in their stage space, as well as sparring and participation in Dynamo's programme.
