Applying and awarding grants for projects

The Danish Artist Association awards grants to projects via several annual pools.

Funds are allocated via application and responses are sent directly to each applicant. See criteria and upcoming deadlines for each pool on our application portal

Music and performing arts - pool for music and performing artists' projects

The applications are processed by the allocation committee, which consists of two board members and a member representative. The current committee consists of Marianne Lewandowski, Markus Artved and Feven Geles.

Events, concerts and events - pool for organisers, festivals and entrepreneurs

The applications are processed by a committee under the board. The current committee consists of Troels Skjærbæk, My Grönholdt and Brian Risberg Clausen.

Development efforts - Pool for development, new collaborations or mentorships

The applications are processed by a committee appointed by the federation’s board. The current committee consists of Marianne Lewandowski, Markus Artved and Feven Geles.

Committee work

All applications are processed individually. In the event of incompatibility, if a committee member has personal, professional or financial interests in the project being applied for, the committee member will not participate in the processing of the application.

The grants are entitlement funds

The funds are earned by music performers via Gramex, a smaller part from the circus area via Copydan. In addition, the Danish Artist Association also distributes Kulturplus funds via the pools.
