SONA Bootcamp: Optimize your voice

Give your voice three mornings of focused training. From January 27th to 29th 2027, you can work on your body, breathing and voice with one of the country’s most sought-after singing coaches, SONA. Members of the Danish Artist Association can participate for 900 kroner.

Do you need your voice to be ready for touring, recording sessions or performances? Or do you want new tools to develop and train it? The Danish Artist Union is once again offering places on the SONA Bootcamp with singing coaches Sophie Ziedoy and Nana Fagerberg.

Over three mornings you work on body and breathing exercises and simple voice exercises that give you a foundation for continuing to practice on your own.

 

Training focused on your voice

The Bootcamp is aimed at those who want to:

  • Strengthen your voice and unleash its potential.
  • Get in shape for a tour, studies, or performances.
  • Work with challenges such as hoarseness, voice fatigue, nasal sound or difficulty with high tones.
  • Get a training program for your voice.

The focus is on the actual vocal training. Therefore, there is no singing or masterclass included in the course. Afterwards, you can use the exercises in your own work with singing and performance.

 

About the trainers

Sophie Ziedoy and Nana Fagerberg together form the highly-profiled coaching duo SONA.

Since 2015 they have worked with a wide range of Danish singers, including Jada, Tobias Rahim, MØ, Emma Sehested Høeg, Alex Vargas, Kesi, Anisette, Coco O., Andreas Odbjerg, Lukas Graham, Brimheim, Carlina De Place and Rasmus Seebach.

Time, place and price

Date: Wednesday the 27th, Thursday the 28th and Friday the 29th of January 2027.
Time: From 9:30 to 12:00 every day.
Location: Vesterbro, Copenhagen.
Price for the entire course: 900 kroner for members of the Danish Artist Association and 4,000 kroner for non-members.

You can apply for one of the Danish Artist Union’s positions via the application form. If you are offered a position, you will receive notification of payment. Your position is only secured when the payment has been received.

Before the bootcamp, you will receive information from Sophie and Nana about attendance and any necessary preparations.
