The two management organisations have entered into an agreement that brings Performex administration and disbursement together with Gramex.

The agreement will apply from 1 January 2026, which means that rights payments from Performex will come via Gramex in the future.

The agreement does not change the distribution rules or the procedure that Performex has and which applies to you as a performing musician or artist.

The money for TV appearances will continue to be paid in September, as Performex rights holders are used to. This year, Gramex will be responsible for paying out the money.

The collaboration will provide a smoother administration for recipients of Performex rights, says Sara Indrio, President of Perfomex:

- "I'm incredibly pleased that we have reached this administration agreement with Gramex, and I look forward to the operational benefits that co-operation can provide. Among other things, it will provide a better overview of the payments for the individual artist or musician, and in the long term, easier reporting. "We are currently finalising the workflow in Gramex's excellent system so that everything is ready for the next payment in September. During the transition phase, there may be a slightly longer response time than usual or changes we cannot foresee. We hope for your understanding for this.

Send your TV contracts to Performex as usual

The new agreement doesn't change what you need to do as a performing musician or artist.

You must continue to send documentation for your TV appearance to Performex via Dansk Artist Forbund as usual. Write to Susanne Lyngaa at sl@artisten.dk

The next deadline is 15 February 2026.

If you have any questions about submitting documentation and contracts, please continue to direct them to your union

Remember to secure reservation of rights in your contracts

In order to receive rights payments from Performex, you must have contracts stating that you have ensured that the rights do not pass to others. Therefore, it is crucial for you as a rights holder that you have secured your reservation.

Contact your union and have your contracts checked for rights and any reservations.

Performex recommends that all musicians and singers have the reservation clause written into their individual contracts in the audiovisual field (TV contracts), thus ensuring that remuneration rights are not transferred to others/producers.
