Unemployment insurance for artists

As a member of an unemployment insurance fund, you are protected if you become unemployed.

The artists' section of AJKS has special knowledge of artists' working conditions.

Personalised and experienced unemployment fund advisors

The almost 700 members have their own personal case manager who calculates hours, pays out unemployment benefits, holiday pay and early retirement benefits, and provides guidance on maternity leave, working life and availability. The artists' section of AJKS is recognised for a high and individualised level of service.

Our members are performing artists

The artists' section of AJKS is located in Christianshavn in Copenhagen - under the same roof as Dansk Artist Forbund.

With more than 25 years of experience, the department has in-depth knowledge of artists' working conditions and current legislation, as well as current tax conditions and other social security. The artists' department is established under AJKS - A-kassen for Journalism, Communication and Language. Its members - artists, journalists and communicators - have many different types of employment in the creative field.
