Do you have Gramex money owed to you? Check the list now
If you are involved in a release, your royalty payment can only be processed once the tracklist has been submitted. Therefore, it is a good idea to check if you are on the list.
What do you need to do?
– Search the list of tracks missing study lists
– If you find anything you're involved in, contact the producer
– If it is your own publication, you must submit the study list yourself
– If the release is foreign, you must report it yourself to Gramex
It is the producer's responsibility to submit the cast list – but without it, no money will be paid to any of the participants.
Therefore, it is important
The recording sheet documents who participated in a track, which instruments were played, and who is entitled to payment. Without it, Gramex cannot distribute the money correctly.
At the same time, new rules have come into effect which may affect your payout. Among other things, you may be registered as an “artistic producer” and you may receive an additional share if you play multiple instruments on the same track.
Store the money for three years
It usually only takes a few minutes to complete a study list, and Gramex holds the money for up to three years. So there is good reason to check the list and ensure you receive what you have earned.
