The new development fund can be used to develop or promote shows, music production and performing arts projects, but also for personal artistic development - either through new collaborations, mentorships or sparring for new inspiration.

You can apply for three development areas:

Social media, marketing and booking
- Grants for press and marketing, for example SoMe activities, booking, press material or video production.

Production and/or development of a performance, project or concert
- Grants for an activity that develops and strengthens a new or ongoing project.

Mentorship
- grants to try out a new collaboration, get inspiration to boost your business or work with a mentor.

Who and what does the pool cover?

The development work can take place in connection with a new production that is starting up, or it can be linked to a current project that needs to be strengthened, rethought or needs help to be realised.

The fund supports projects within music, performing arts, circus and entertainment - and covers professionals from both the performing and creative fields, both more and less established artists and musicians.

The applications received are assessed based on parameters such as diversity and the feasibility of the development plans.

The funds must allow for other or more disciplines to be involved in the project and help develop the applicant, make projects visible, stimulate the creative process and support when artists take 'a chance' either professionally or financially.
