Applying and awarding grants for projects

The Danish Artist Association awards grants to projects via several annual pools.

Funds are allocated via application and responses are sent directly to each applicant. See criteria and upcoming deadlines for each pool on our application portal

Music and performing arts - pool for music and performing artists' projects
Applications are reviewed by the allocation committee, which consists of two board members and one member representative.
The committee reads, listens and processes all applications. The current committee consists of Marianne Lewandowski, Markus Artved and Camille Jones.

Events, concerts and events - pool for organisers, festivals and entrepreneurs
The applications are processed by a committee under the Board of Directors.

Development efforts - Pool for development, new collaborations or mentorships
The applications are reviewed by a committee appointed by the association's board of directors.

The grants are entitlement funds

The funds are earned by music performers via Gramex, a smaller part from the circus area via Copydan. In addition, the Danish Artist Association also distributes Kulturplus funds via the pools.
