The Danish Artist Association is committed to the mental well-being of professionals and aspiring professionals in music and performing arts. Studies show that it is important throughout your career to get sparring on both career and working life. That's why we offer our members the opportunity to use one of our industry-savvy coaches to clarify challenges that arise in your career, or when you need sparring for an artistic career change or to choose new paths. It can be developmental sparring about prioritising and organising artistic work - or exploratory conversations about the choices behind new collaborative projects or changing disciplines.
To get a programme, you need to apply and pay a self-payment. From here, you make an appointment with one of our professional external consultants, each with their own speciality within the artistic labour market. You can get help to clarify and look at your options - but the associated career coaches are not able to provide jobs, work assignments or knowledge about further education.
You can also apply for peer-to-peer mentoring from a colleague through our development pool, where you can apply for financial support to pay for a mentor, whether it's something professional or career-related you want to focus on developing. Read more about it here.
Price
The price for career coaching is DKK 1500 for members and DKK 9000 for non-members. The amount covers 6 sessions and you agree with your coach how the time will be spent. Your co-payment will be charged before the programme begins.
