New gig deal
in Go' morgen Danmark and Go' aften Live
Arbejdsmiljø
As a framework for the work environment, all employees and partners are covered by a code of conduct to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment. The agreement commits production to inform everyone about the code of conduct.
Negotiation and minimum payment
The fee for an appearance in the two daily programmes is freely negotiable, but the agreement sets a minimum payment that both parties can use as a basis for negotiation.
For an appearance on Go' morgen Danmark and Go' aften Live, there is a minimum payment of DKK 2500, due to a minor transfer of rights. The participating artist and/or musician can negotiate with the production company for a higher amount or choose not to pay. If the artist or musician chooses the latter, this must be justified in writing and is done directly in engagement contracts.
Behind the agreement with Nordisk Film are Dansk Artist Forbund and Dansk Musiker Forbund
Individual considerations in case of timeliness
The agreement includes an additional option for the production company to have one or more performers in the studio when there is a particular newsworthiness, and the producer can request that this be done without payment. This option requires Nordisk Film to present in writing why the concept of topicality is relevant.
If the artist and/or musician agrees with the reasons for timeliness, the performer may waive payment. Any decision to waive payment must be made by each individual performer and be included in contracts.
TV recordings for your own media
The agreement also allows cast members to use footage of the programme on their own social media channels.
